- Much like Goiás, Mato Grosso is also located in a beautiful natural phenomena, the Chapada dos Guimaraes in Mato Grosso's case
- Chapada dos Guimarares is described as a collection of sandstone mountains that have eroded in such a way to form amazing and breathtaking patterns
- Mato Grosso also contains Pantanal, which is the worlds currently largest tropical wetland. It is so big that it also extends into Bolivia and Paraguey, but a large majority of it is in Mato Grosso

- Much like Goiás, not much was born or created in Mato Grosso, but it does have two noticeable acts, Vanessa da Mata and Vanguart
- Vanessa da Mata is a Latin Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and also, novelist
- She makes samba, pop, R&B, and M.P.B (Música popular brasileira, which is described as a trend in post-bossa nova urban popular music...combined with jazz and rock)
